There is an illustrious history of unique real estate developments enduring the test of time adding happy living environments for the greater good.

Founded in 1965 in Honolulu, Hawaii, The McCormack Corporation has had a presence in unique and diverse markets for more than 40 years. It has developed, marketed and sold numerous distinctive properties in a variety of locations throughout Hawaii and the Mainland. Its products include single family homes, townhouses, resort condominiums, high rise residential towers and distinctive land development enclaves.

It’s not the quantity that’s noted, but the quality. Interesting, attractive and unique developments have been the hallmark of the McCormack property companies. Early on in the 60’s the company took on its first biggest challenge then developing 1010 Wilder, together with the Dillingham Corporation. An unheard of development for that time of high quality luxurious home size condominiums designed specifically for prominent local families planning their retirement years. And today, it stands there as the premier Kamaaina address on Oahu, enjoying enduring appreciation year after year.

In succeeding years, the company concentrated on Windward Oahu, and created many successful communities, Haiku Plantations, Alii Shores, Puu Alii, and Alii Bluffs. They were mostly single family homes, but included projects of cluster townhouses, condos, and large ranch estates.

As Hawaii grew in popularity so did the many condominiums built to Serve that crushing demand from Canadian and Californian families. On Maui, especially at Kaanapali and beyond, McCormack did one project after another marching up the coastline from the “Whaler” at Kaanapali Beach, through Kahana sands, Hale Mahina out to “Napili Pointe” right up to Kapalua Bay. The McCormack companies roared through this madness of the late 70’s Building, Selling, Managing, and Marketing a variety of these unique waterfront enclaves as Maui seemed to be just bursting at the seams.

But that’s not all, during a lull in the early 80’s we joined with the Republic of Nauru to deliver the impressive 360 unit Nauru Tower Condominium overlooking Ala Moana beach park in Honolulu. After that in the late 80’s the Japanese came to Hawaii and with an infusion of 16 billion dollars in Capital; they ratcheted up the real estate market to heights no one ever imagined and beyond belief. During that period together with Japanese partners, the McCormack Companies developed and sold several unique projects of unprecedented design and quality. Among them were “The Palms at Wailea” and “Harbor Court” Two of Hawaii’s premier property developments. One located at Honolulu Harbor, on the Waterfront, and the other at the famous beachside resort of Wailea.

After that frenzied period it was time to move on and explore the many opportunities of the “States”, Idaho came first, with homes built along the Spokane River, in Coeur d’Alene and the ski-in ski-out Cabins at Schweitzer Mountain. Then it was on to California, Santa Barbara specifically and into the foothills of Montecito, where in partnership with Investec, another local developer, we created a 10 lot subdivision on an old 100 acre ranch the most exclusive luxurious gated community of “Oak Creek Canyon” A beautiful unprecedented and spectacular enclave of unique view properties.

The most recent development concluded was a 17 acre bay front project in Bellingham Washington that was sold out from the day it was cleared for sale. Madrona Pointe, on the bluffs overlooking Bellingham Bay amongst tall pine trees, is truly another one of a kind spectacular place developed by us.
